The E-Mails to a Young Lawyer website (Website) is designed to benefit everyone interested in legal education and changes in the profession, developments, and implications for forming the “future lawyer.”
People who visit the Website (User) and become members of the Website (Member) shall accept, declare, and undertake to abide by the Website Terms and Conditions of Use at the moment they visit the Website or the moment of the use (Use). The Website editor also reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of Use at every stage. Such changes shall become effective immediately upon posting the changed terms and conditions of use on the Website. It is the User and/or Member’s responsibility to follow the changes in the Website Terms and Conditions of Use. The User and/or Member’s continued sse of the Website after the publication of any changes will constitute their acceptance of such changes.
Information, record, documents, experiences, and posts on the Website do not constitute legal, professional and/or career planning, etc. advice. Also, these contents may not be interpreted as or used to establish an attorney-client relationship for any reason.
The posts on the Website reflect the knowledge, opinion, experience, and thoughts of their authors. Although they are prepared with care and attention, there is no explicit or implicit assurance regarding the accuracy, reliability, and currentness of the information shared. No legal liability is assumed concerning these.
All rights regarding the design of the Website are reserved. All rights of the posts found on the Website belong to the posting author/content creator. Nonetheless, the Users and/or Members can share the posts on the Website on virtual media and social media platforms that can be accessed via the Internet, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, provided that the posting is under the terms of use of these platforms. The Website’s content may be shared on virtual media and social media platforms provided that the use is reasonable, references the Website, and provides a link to the Website’s treatment of the relevant content. Reasonable use shall be constituted as a limited summary of the work or other content and should not eliminate the need to visit the Website to comprehend the content. Users and Members accept all legal and other rights of the Website and the authors, who are the post owners, and accept, declare, and undertake that they cannot reproduce, publish, quote, or use the posts in any other print or electronic media without the permission of the authors. No part of the Website can be used on another website. Any interference constituting a violation shall result in civil and criminal liability.
Anyone who enters their e-mail address in the relevant field of the Website subscription form and clicks the submit button can become a Member. Members can unsubscribe at any time. The Website editor and/or officials do not evaluate the Members’ personal, professional, social, or economic characteristics for membership acceptance, and these do not bind the Website for any reason. The Website editor reserves the sole discretion to terminate membership without justification. User and Member information is protected under existing legislation on personal data protection. User and Member information will not be used, distributed, or published in any way except for court/prosecutors’ decisions made in accordance with the law and with the approval of the User and/or Member.
Comments and messages sent to the Website e-mail address may also be posted on the Website with the sender’s name, surname, and legal or other professional identification, including the sender’s alma mater and year of graduation, unless the person sending the message or commenting states otherwise. All initiatives and rights to publish any comments and/or messages on the Website and the right to remove previously published comments and/or messages from the Website without any justification belong solely to the Website editor. The criminal and civil liability arising from the comments belong to their authors. The Website editor and/or Website officials are not liable for the comments made.
The Terms and Conditions of Use contained herein shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Turkey without regard to private international law (conflicts of law) provisions. Any disputes that may arise from this shall be resolved by Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices.
Although the Website has many measures against malicious software such as viruses and worms, it does not guarantee complete coverage in this regard. The Website recommends that the Members and/or Users take the necessary measures to protect themselves from viruses and other threats. The Website does not accept any liability for damages arising from viruses and other threats.
