Elizabeth H. Woyczynski



Elizabeth "Liz" Woyczynski is Director of Admissions and Student Services, in the Office of Global Legal Studies, at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. The Office of Global Legal Studies manages the Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree programs and the Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) program. Four LL.M. degrees are offered: International Business Law, Intellectual Property Law, International Criminal Law, and US & Global Legal Studies. She and her staff manage admissions, enroLL.M.ent, academic advising, student activities, internship placements, and alumni relations. Over 150 international students are currently enrolled.

Ms. Woyczynski earned her bachelor's degree from Denison University, with a major in Spanish. And she earned a master's degree in Organizational Behavior, from the Weatherhead School of Management from Case Western Reserve University.

Ms. Woyczynski has worked in international higher education for almost 40 years. She served as Director of Undergraduate Admission, and Secretary of the University Faculty, before starting in the Office of Global Legal Studies in 2012. She has presented at regional and national conferences of NAFSA Association of International Educators. For the same organization, she served as Treasurer of Region VI, and she was elected to serve on the national Campus and Community Programming (CCP) Network, which contributes to international student success and retention. Ms. Woyczynski served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Cleveland Student Housing Association, co-op housing for international students attending Cleveland area universities. She founded Case Western Reserve University's International Friendship Program, and in 2017 she was one of 3 staff members selected for the President's Award for Distinguished Service.
