Ingrid Sigstad Lie



Ingrid Sigstad Lie works as a program Coordinator for the Master’s program (LL.M.) in European and International Law at the Europa-Institut, Universität des Saarlandes. Together with the rest of her team, she is responsible for running the LL.M. program. This includes planning and coordination of the classes with the visiting professors teaching in the program, exam implementation, student counselling and recruitment. She also assists in overseeing the program as a whole, ensuring that the classes taught are a reflection of the most current topics in European and international law.

Ms. Sigstad Lie holds a Master’s degree in law from the University of Oslo, as well as an LL.M. in European and International Law from the Europa-Institut, Universität des Saarlandes. For her Master’s thesis, “Discrimination, Market Access or a Bit of Both? The Scope of Application of the Market Access Test under Article 34 TFEU after Mickelsson and Roos”, she received the European Prize of the Villa Lessing, from The Villa Lessing – Liberal Foundation Saar.
